Summer Cascadia Expedition Trips

Description: As part of the funding received from the Oregon Department of Education – Youth Council Division for the Benton County Positive Youth Development Coalition, Strengthening Rural Families is organizing trips for youth with Cascadia Expeditions. The preference is to gather a consistent group of 6-10 youth that would attend all 3 activities. Profile: 13-18 year olds that are doing well in their respective communities/programs and would benefit from more skills mastery.

  June 26th- Whitewater Rafting

July 17th- Rock Climbing

August 7th- Canyoneering

There is a Liability Release and Permission Form to be completed before the trip.

Jackson Street's Spring Independent Living Skills

Class Description: A 5 week series presenting various life skills to teach kids to live self-sufficiently. Benton County youth ages 15-18 (14 if referred by DHS) are welcome to join. Free admission!

Time:, May 10th-June 7th, Wednesdays from 530-7pm at the Corvallis House Program Office. 

Location: In the Meeting House at the Corvallis Overnight Shelter (555 NW Jackson Ave. Corvallis, OR 97333)
